The perfect one-day training session for the photographer looking to organize and streamline their photography. This class specializes on the two fundamental modes of Lightroom: The Library Module and the Develop module. *All versions of Lightroom are acceptable.
The Library Module: Here you will learn how to properly set up Lightroom and organize your photos so that you can easily find every one of your amazing images.
Lessons include:
• Editing
• Keywording
• File Naming
• File Searching
• Personal collections
The Develop Module: Make visual adjustments to your images in a fast and effective way. Learn the simple controls and techniques for bringing out an image's full potential. As this is a hands-on class, students will be given a set of "work" images from which they will use Lightroom to practice on.
Lessons include:
• Cropping
• Tonal adjustments
• Red-eye correction
• Selective burning and dodging
• Correcting lens aberrations
Students are required to bring their own laptop for this class. Adobe Lightroom is sold in many retail outlets and is available online as a download. You can also get a free 30-day trial by going to www.adobe.com.
All students will receive an easy-to-follow 25-page color “visual instruction manual.’ The class is limited to 10 students, sign up early to reserve a seat in this popular class.
